Dear Friends and Supporters...

Thank you so much for the support, friendship and encouragement during the 2010 campaign.  We ran a very positive, clean and honest campaign and I am very proud of that.

I knew it was going to be a tough race from the get go, but with your help we stayed on course and battled to the end, even though the outcome was not what we hoped for.  The encouragement and support I received during the campaign has given me a boost of energy and encouragement to keep my aspiration to be your next Sheriff on track.

During the next 2 years I will continue to serve the people of Keene as a Police Lieutenant to the best of my ability and be a visible and engaged member of this great county.

The official numbers were Sheriff Foote 13,171 (53%) and Rivera 11,765 (47%), a very respectful show of support by Cheshire voters.

Congratulations to Sheriff Foote for his victory.
